I guess it was my involvement with Birmingham City Councils Bike Art project which got me interested in the photography of motor bikes, something I continue to this day with my involvement with BMAD and Paignton's wednesday night 'Bike Nights'.

Therefore a big thanks goes out to my old friend, mentor and introducer to famous faces Dave Lucas (previously the man behind the legendary 'Halfords' Birmingham Super Prix) for convincing the exhibition curator Kristina Sale to hire me as photographer.

Kristina and myself had a great time working on this project, travelling all over the UK, meeting people and photographing 'things the like of which we had never seen before' or so it said in the programme!
